NICK VAN SICKLEN

With over a decade in digital sales and marketing experience, Nick has a track record for building winning teams, delivering significant revenue growth and launching new products. Nick was responsible for overseeing digital revenue, sales planning and creative services at Time Inc, helping drive over $300MM in annual digital revenue. He has been recognized by AdWeek as an "Innovator Who Will Change the Media Business" (2015), Folio "15 Under 30" (2012), MIN "Most Intriguing People to Watch" (2012), his team won "Digital Team of the Year" (2012) and he sits on the IAB Leadership Board. Prior to joining the digital media world, Nick was a professional soccer player. He is an avid runner, adventurer, uncle and world traveler. He hails from the great state of Wisconsin.

A media native with omni-channel experience, Matt has sharpened his experience in leadership positions in both the established and start-up publishing space, from Gilt Groupe to Time Inc. He has a passion for big ideas and big results and has built powerful platforms for many brands. At Time Inc., he was tapped to lead the launch of Wallpaper* US while he played a pivotal role in driving Travel + Leisure to win several industry awards from "Hottest Travel Magazine" to "Hottest Reborn Magazine". He built strong scaleable programs for Gilt Groupe and Modern Luxury publishing that allowed local businesses to connect with meaningful audiences with turnkey and efficient approaches. Matt takes both the depth of his national relationships and efficiency of local partners to develop a one-of-a-kind approach to doing business. Matt lives in Manhattan with his wife and son, and he also hails from the great state of Wisconsin.

Randy Pease has specialized in response-driven advertising for his entire career. From a media buying agency in Boston to a tech start-up in NYC and eventually a collection of a dozen digital brands at Time Inc., Randy has honed a unique skill set of world class client service and operational know-how. With nearly 10 years of experience in managing campaigns of all shapes and sizes, Randy serves as an advocate for all of his ad partners, from creative consultation to final report. He is trained in the Adobe design suite, certified by the IAB, and his team at AMEX Publishing won “Digital Team of the Year” in 2012. Randy spends his free time hanging with his Golden Doodle, riding his Vespa and DIY'ing his house from the ground up.
GABRIELLE BLITZ ROSEN
Content & Strategy
Gabrielle Blitz Rosen is a senior social media strategist and editor, serving as North & Warren’s Chief Content Officer. She's the CEO & Founder of Townhouse Digital, an editorial agency for social media. Prior to Townhouse, Blitz Rosen was the Chief Digital Officer for Beautiful Destinations, the largest travel and lifestyle brand on social media with over 14 million followers and before that, the Social Media Editor for Travel + Leisure Magazine. She specializes in content and growth for some of the world's biggest brands, while winning them major industry awards along the way. She's an expert in emerging and established social platforms and teaches social media for the publishing industry at Columbia University.
SYDNEY BRODY FRUMKIN
Sydney has nearly 15 years of advertising sales and management experience spanning from NYC to the West Coast. Her career began in the traditional print space and has evolved to include digital, video, event and sponsorship sales. She's worked for businesses big and small and helped to launch the fist ever digital sales office for Time Inc. in San Francisco. She has a proven track record of growing revenue and is passionate about helping her clients solve their key business problems. She prides herself on her attention to detail and strong client relationships. Sydney is based in Northern California with her husband, two kids and loving yellow lab.
Mark Cooper is a 24 year media professional who has held senior management positions at Questex Media, Condé Nast, American Express Publishing and Time Inc. In 2010 Cooper joined Departures magazine as Associate Publisher, managing their global sales team. Over the next 6 years Cooper and the Departures team grew the brand significantly, establishing it as the leading luxury and travel media brand in the industry. In March of 2016 Cooper took a sabbatical, embarking on a year of travels in Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia where he filed travel editorial pieces for departures.com Upon his return he relocated to Miami Beach, FL where he has established TL Cooper Media, a media sales and marketing agency that works with North & Warren, Departures and Centurion in the Southeastern US, Caribbean and Latin America.
Sophie began her career at Time Inc. where she worked as a Digital Sales Assistant and gained an understanding of the digital media space. She transitioned into an Account Management position there and honed her skills in the digital sales process, from the pre-sale ideation of proposals to the post-sale execution and delivery of campaigns. At North & Warren Sophie is a Digital Account Executive working with clients to develop efficient and effective advertising partnerships across AmericanExpress.com. She was an All-American field hockey player at Trinity College and is a Cuisine Certificate holder from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Paris, France. Sophie now enjoys cooking, running, and spending time at her dad's brewery.
Sales & Marketing
A California native, Caroline recently moved to New York City to pursue her interest in both the digital marketing and the travel industry. She completed her master’s degree at London School of Economics and Political Science in 2018, where she received an MsC in Media and Communications. In London, she also worked for a fashion public relations firm, Karla Otto, and worked on a travel blog. Her role at North & Warren as Digital Coordinator ranges from campaign management, sales reports, and marketing operations. Caroline has experience with social media, including her French bulldog’s instagram account. She plays tennis, and is fully devoted to trying every restaurant in New York City.
JANIS JOPLIN PEASE
Born in Walhalla, SC to a standard poodle and an english golden retriever, Janis is a southern girl to the core. With over 2 years of experience in chasing tennis balls, taking long walks on the beach and photo-bombing conference calls, Janis provides the comic relief to keep our business running smoothly. When she’s not napping on the floor, Janis can be found playing with her best friend Gus and avoiding her cat-brother at all costs.
Lindsey moved from Cleveland to New York City in the 90’s, quickly establishing herself in the evolving media landscape. She was an early digital adopter leading sales for a tech start up called Moving.com. As VP of Sales, she paved a new path for the relocation industry revolutionizing their method of generating leads. Over the next decade, she went on to sales & partnership roles within some of the most well respected media brands including American Express Publishing, Time Inc. and Robb Report. She takes pride in developing impactful advertising solutions for complex organizations. From travel to jewelry to financial services, Lindsey has successfully partnered with 100’s of brands helping them increase margins and brand lift.
Joe Messer is a media and marketing veteran who has excelled in both frontline sales and sales leadership roles throughout his 18+ year career. As an individual contributor Joe was known as a creative thinker who developed, pitched and closed large integrated deals across a variety of categories. In leadership roles with brands such as Travel + Leisure and Food & Wine, Joe developed and led high performing teams with a focus on brand evolution, revenue development and operational excellence. Joe launched JMCO, a Sales Consulting and Representation firm based in Austin where he lives with his wife and four dogs, Axl, Rose, Eddie and Sax.
Emily has over a decade of experience in the world of marketing. She started her career in Chicago at a food industry-focused marketing company where she planned educational events for leading global food brands. She later joined the luxury lifestyle magazine publisher, Modern Luxury, first in San Diego and then New York, where she managed events nationwide for top luxury brands. In her spare time, she also helped launch an e-commerce website for a small clothing boutique on the West Coast. Emily is passionate about building meaningful relationships with clients to help them achieve their marketing goals. She currently lives in Manhattan with her daughter and husband.
Born in New York City, Athena grew up in publishing, naturally developing a passion for the industry. As a small child, she was introduced to advertising through a “Take Your Daughters to Work Day,” and the rest is history. Her career began under the American Express umbrella where she worked for 11 years, representing Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, Departures, Executive Travel and their respective websites. Athena specializes in developing integrated concepts and building creative platforms to meet client needs. The cornerstone of her expertise lies in the Caribbean, Florida and Southeastern U.S. regions. During her free time, Athena enjoys playing tennis, practicing power yoga, partaking in charity runs and loves her weekend and moonlight picnics with her gentle giant Tank, the Rottweiler-Lab.
Mychal has almost a decade of experience in digital marketing. He started his career in NYC at top media agencies working with luxury brands like Belvedere Vodka and American Express. Looking for a new challenge, he joined Plated where he led new channel testing, attribution, and paid media strategy. After heading out west to Los Angeles, Mychal started his own boutique agency Growphoria to help high growth startups reach their growth marketing goals. When he isn't optimizing Google or Facebook campaigns, he unplugs and practices pottery at his local studio.
